My Review For Hitchki Global Indian Restaurant

Food 7/10

Ambiance 9/10

Service 9/10

Overall 8/10

Visiting a restaurant after 8 months for a review was definitely refreshing and also nostalgic.

We were warmly welcomed to the restaurant by the host who seated us at a pre reserved spot. It was centrally located in the restaurant giving a great view. The ambiance was wood centric and comfy with comfy sofas and leather chairs.

The restaurant took full precautions for safety with social distancing and sanitizing.

We started the meal with Crispy Lotus Stem and Ulta Punjab. The lotus stem was fried and tossed in asian flavor sauce with a hint of chili. Theta set was nice with a fantastic crunch.

Ulta Punjab was basically a crisp Roomali Roti in the form of a bowl. It was sprinkled with masalas, sev, cheese and also pomegranate. The taste was nice however the ease to eat this dish was missing. Breaking the roti only made the table messy with everything spilling on the table. Else the dish is a great concept.

Moving on we had the Kesari Mushroom Pide. This dish was very flavorful. It was flavored with saffron and had a combination of multiple cheese. The flavors were strong and yet the saffron flavor was evident. It was exceptional combination.

Mains called were the Dal Bukhara and Teen Guna Schezwan. The Dal Bukhara is their famous dish which tasted decent. Served with 2 small Kulchas though, it could have been a better portion. The Dal had a distinct garlic flavor which lifted its cream spirits.

The Teen Guna Schezwan (or triple Schezwan) had a peculiar taste. The portion size was great on this dish but the flavors could have been slightly better. (Depends on one’s pallet though)

The drinks were nice in general. Mission Mangal was a fascinating healthy drink with a great kick of beetroot. The presentation as a spacecraft was epic!

The Kuch Khaya Kuch Meetha was slightly average. It tasted like a ready berry juice(or rather Vimto) flavored with Masala.

The Twix Dhamaka was NOC ebut rather heavy. More of a dessert than a drink itself.

The Minion was a refreshing drink majorly made of watermelon juice with a hint of guava.

Overall the experience was decent. The vibe and service was great. The food could have been better in some areas but overall was definitely flavorful. Kudos to the chefs for bringing a versatile pallet for the multicultural customer base.
