My review for Bareburger La Mer

Winning free meals is so much fun! Especially when it’s not just for 2 but 4 people 🤩 Won a meal for 4 to try out the burgers at Bareburger, La Mer.

It difficult being a vegetarian and visiting burger joints, but somehow, Bareburger has taken good care of Vegetarians and Vegans alike! Their two meatless options on the menu include ‘Farmstead’- the burger without a bun made of sweet potato and quinoa and wrapped in greens & ‘Guadalupe’- the burger made black bean and rice patty, guacamole and alfalfa stuffed in a multi grain bun.

I happened to try out the latter from the above. It was exciting to have this burger with a side of onion rings and sweet potato fries. The taste of the burger was slightly disappointing thou! The greens used under the patty were waaaay to much and hence overpowered the taste of the patty. The guacamole was creamy but lacked seasoning to a whole new level. The rings and fries however won the day!

The selection of drinks was interesting. They had a choice of organic sodas ranging from cola to lime, berry to blood orange. They also had mojito sand a few other cocktails too. All tasted very refreshing and the cola was so tasty!

Happened to try out shots of their creamy milkshakes and I must say, this is the first EVER place that had a better vanilla shake than a chocolate shake.

The ambiance of this place was very woody and dull in a good sense. It felt very relaxing with some great background music playing. Overall, the place can be visited once in a while for a healthier take on burgers
